May is that great month when much of the country can put away the snow blower, get out the lawnmower and begin thinking about summertime activities. We Americans tend to drive more in summer, so I thought this might be a good time to share some safe-driving tips you might not be aware of. One less-positive aspect of spring and summer is the possibility of dangerous weather, such as tornadoes, lightning strikes, floods or hurricanes, depending on where you live. I hope you never suffer the ill-effects of such storms, but you might want to think about taking a home inventory so you'll be prepared, just in case.
